Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 21, 2025

Thank you for choosing Syntro ("Syntro," "we," "us" or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit https://syntro.io (the "Site"), install or use the Syntro Slack application (the "App"), or otherwise interact with us. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@syntro.io.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to information processed by DailyBot, Inc. in connection with the Site, the App and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect direct payment information; subscriptions are handled by our payment processor.

3. How We Use Your Information

We rely on one or more of the following legal bases (where applicable): (i) your consent, (ii) performance of a contract, (iii) legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, and (iv) compliance with legal obligations.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The Site uses essential cookies to remember your session and optional analytics cookies to understand Site traffic. You can adjust cookie preferences in your browser; however, some features may not work if you disable cookies.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it only:

  1. With service providers that host infrastructure, process analytics, or provide customer support—strictly under contractual confidentiality.

  2. Within your organisation: workspace admins and authorised agents can view ticket data and related channel content.

  3. For legal reasons: to comply with law or respond to lawful requests.

  4. Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
    Aggregated or de‑identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be shared freely.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your workspace uses the Services and for up to 30 days after deletion of a workspace or channel, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes. Workspace owners may request earlier deletion as described below.

7. Security

We employ industry‑standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards—including encrypted transport (TLS), at‑rest encryption of message logs, and role‑based access controls—to protect your information. No system is perfect; if you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct or export the personal information we hold about you;

  • Request deletion of your personal information;

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Send your request to support@syntro.io from the email address associated with your account. Please describe your request with enough detail for us to verify and respond. We respond within 30 days.

9. International Transfers

We store data in the United States and may process it in other countries where we or our service providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross‑border transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on the Site or within the App, with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
